We are looking for a “Senior Software Test Automation Engineer” for our global client, who is developing product in tourism industry.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software test automation experience, including QA methodologies
- Experience with common Java test automation frameworks (Cucumber, Gauge, REST Assured) is a plus
- BSc or MSc in Software/Computer Engineering or related fields.
- Excellent understanding of existing test automation frameworks
- Experience in writing test automation strategy and test plans
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs
- Experience in API automation tests
- Experience with Java/Javascript programming languages
- Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
- Fluent English in both verbal and written communication
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing software requirements and specifications to develop an automated testing strategy for a product or release
- Writing and running new test cases for the verification of new product features
- Executing automated test scenarios for functionality, regression, integration, etc.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining test automation scenarios
- Gathering test requirements and producing test specifications
- Analysing and reporting the test results and logging test outcomes
- Documenting test automation features or team processes as needed
- Reporting test progress and status, doing defect tracking and risk assessment
- Learning new technologies and apply to projects as needed
